Stabilized Premium Nordic Lichen – Pastel Green 66

Stabilized Nordic lichen is an extremely popular material for moss arts, walls and other moss decorations due to its properties. It has a soft spongy texture and is easy to shape. Its great advantage is that it can be glued in a variety of ways, allowing you to control its consumption.

The original natural Nordic lichen is white in colour, but is dyed with food colouring as part of the stabilisation process. Therefore, you can buy it from us in different colours.

Stabilized Nordic lichen can be glued to various hard surfaces such as wood, hardboard, plastic, etc., using stabilized moss glue, or with a hot melt gun.

Whether you use just the heads of the lichen or the entire length of the plant is up to you. The final consumption depends on it. If you use only the lichen heads, you can count on an average consumption of approx. 8kg of lichen per 1m2. Stabilized Nordic lichen is supplied packed in bunches, in different sizes:

• 250g – covers an area of approx. 0.03 m² /15 x 20cm/
• 500g – covers an area of approx. 0.06 m² /20 x 30 cm/
• 1kg – covers an area of approx. 0.12 m² /40 x 30 cm/
• 2.5 kg – covers an area of approx. 0.30 m² /100 x 30 cm/
• 5 kg – covers an area of approx. 0.60 m² /100 x 60 cm/

How to choose the right amount of lichen?

In case you didn’t find the variant you need in your basket, you can make up the quantity you need from smaller packs. For example, if you are interested in 3kg of Nordic lichen, choose the 1kg variant and add 3pcs to your cart.
