Moss paintings are made from 100% natural moss and plantsthat have been treated with a special process – stabilization. This unique method of preservation with a solution of salt and glycerine causes mosses and plants no longer grow, mould, attract insects or dust. Thanks to this, they are you don’t have to worry at all. Just once in a while wipe with antistatic duster and enjoy their beauty.

Maintenance Free Moss paintings are made in-house from the highest quality stabilized moss and plants on the market. Within the materials we use a variety of stabilized plants, Nordic lichen, Bolmoss hill moss, forest moss a Siberian moss in different colour shades. All moss decorations that we produce are also carefully packed so that they are not damaged during transport. Whether you live anywhere in Slovakia or abroad, you can be sure that the ordered goods will arrive to you in the same condition as if you picked them up in person.
All mosses and plants we use in the production of moss decorations are purely natural and treated with a special gentle and harmless process - stabilization. Stabilization stops the growth of moss and plants, prevents mould formation and dust build-up. Stabilized moss and plants retain their natural properties and beautiful fresh appearance even after years.
The biggest advantage of stabilized moss and plant products is that they do not require any special care and are not demanding in terms of light conditions. Therefore, they are also suitable for darker rooms with a lack of daylight, such as bathrooms, toilets, hallways, corridors, etc. Plants and mosses are stabilised with a special salt-based solution, so they must not be watered, sprinkled with water or moistened with a spray. If dust appears on the surface, just wipe it off gently with an anti-static duster.
The manufacturer of stabilized mosses states a shelf life of 7-10 years. However, if you store them properly, you can enjoy their beauty for much longer. The most ideal environment for moss paintings and moss walls is indoors with a temperature of10-25°C and a humidity of 40-60%. It is also important not to place moss decorations in direct sunlight, near heaters and other sources of high temperature that could cause the moss and plants to dry out or fade.
When you receive a moss painting or install a new moss wall, you may smell a specific natural scent that will completely disappear in about 3-4 weeks. This is the result of the preservation process. Some people may find this smell slightly unpleasant, but it is natural, completely safe and harmless to health.
No. We produce the bases for the moss wall in our workshop. The base is HDF or OSB board, on which we glue stabilized moss or plants. We will install the prepared substrate directly in your interior. This makes the installation of the moss wall quick and without unnecessary mess.
